La Vélodyssée 800 m from the campsite
The Vélodyssée route, “the Atlantic by bike”, is just 800 m from the campsite near La Tranche-sur-Mer Les Mizottes. On the route from Les Sables-d’Olonne to La Rochelle, take a trip along the section from La Tranche-sur-Mer to Saint-Michel-en-l’Herm.
Without necessarily going all the way to the end of the 24 km route, take advantage of the La Vélodyssée cycle path to discover the dried marshes and the Pointe d’Arcay, pedaling along the Lay estuary. This easy route is mostly on small roads, with car-free stretches. An ideal family outing.

The “Accueil vélo” label for our campsite
The ” Accueil Vélo ” label, which we have been proudly displaying since 2012 at Camping au meilleur prix in Vendée, is a national label set up under the aegis of France Vélo Tourisme that guarantees touring cyclists:
- a warm welcome (practical information, advice, itineraries, weather, etc.)
- provision of small repair kit parts
- dedicated services for bike travelers: laundry and drying, bike rental, bike washing, wifi, pool access (before 7 p.m.)
- specific formulas designed to satiate the body after and before exercise, and to solve any food-related problems.
