Welcome to our friendly Vendée campsite. Everything has been thought of to make your stay an exceptional vacation in our wooded campsite close to the sea. You’ll appreciate the serenity and security of the site.
Open from April1st, our Vendée campsite welcomes you at reception:
- Low season: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- High season: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The campsite has two swimming pools. The indoor swimming pool, heated to 28°C, is one of the campsite’s assets. You’ll appreciate it on sunless days and on the wings of the season, when the sea is still a little too cool for swimming. The outdoor pool, with its paddling pool for the little ones and deckchairs, is very pleasant in summer.
In season, enjoy entertainment near La Tranche-sur-Mer for children and adults, and themed evenings: karaoke, disco nights, concerts and shows for all ages.
Would you like to organize an event with friends or family? We can cater for groups near La Tranche-sur-Mer, as well as rent a hall in Saint-Michel-de-l’Herm.

From breakfast (classic or continental) to dinner, from simple on-site dishes to take-away snacks and pizzas, we cater for every taste. The varied menu offers something for every taste and budget. The daily specials are renewed daily, and the attractive prices will keep you happy at any time of day! In the evenings, our low-cost campsite in the Vendée also offers themed evenings, with more sophisticated dishes served to complement the entertainment in the dining room. And don’t forget the traditional Moules-Frites every Friday evening, featuring local produce from l’Aiguillon-sur-Mer and its bouchots.
Grocery store and bread depot
Comfort at your fingertips means fresh bread every morning and all the essentials on site! Without having to leave the campsite, you’ll find a bread depot at reception every morning, where you can pick up viennoiseries, baguettes, special breads and brioches typical of the region. All you have to do is reserve the day before for the following day. All for the same price as at the bakery.

Label Accueil vélo et location en Vendée
Thanks to our ideal location in relation to the Vélodyssée, bike hire is available at our Vendée campsite, from half-day to weekly. As the number of bikes is limited, it’s best to let us know when you book for longer stays in high season.

Travel with your pet
Go on vacation with your pet! For just 5 euros per pet, you can stay with your dog or cat, in a rental or pitch.
Please note: only 1ʳᵉ category pets are allowed.
Shopping nearby
The commune of Saint-Michel-en-l’Herm has a population of less than 2,500, but has a number of local health services: pharmacy, physiotherapist, osteopath, dentist and veterinary surgeon. The nearest general practitioners are in l’Aiguillon-sur-Mer, 6 km from the campsite.
You can walk to all the shops in the village, 600 m from the campsite: two bakeries, a tobacconist’s, a restaurant, a mini-market… The nearest supermarket is in l’Aiguillon-sur-Mer, 5 km away. And don’t forget our on-site restaurant, which serves a traditional home-cooked menu in July and August, as well as pizzas and takeaways.
